Our Practice has been established for over 50 years. Although specific requirements for projects vary the core architectural, environmental and social values that underpin our work has remained consistent over the years and focus on providing a high quality service and repeat commissions from our client base are testimony to this.

Our designs are always rooted in their locality, drawing inspiration from their immediate site and wider community context. We understand that projects have their own particular requirements but at the same time, must be influenced and respond to the community they exist within.

We are proud of our Practice’s long established and trusted working relationship with the local communities in Fife. We believe that this in depth knowledge of Fife’s landowners, local community groups and businesses is an enormous strength of our Practice and can greatly assist in facilitating our client’s projects and in building bridges for successful public and private finance initiatives

Clients have included Local Authorities, Public bodies, Enterprise Companies, Housing Associations, Private Businesses, Development Companies and Private individuals.

As a small Practice we pride ourselves in providing a very client centred service that extends well beyond a standard design service to provide imaginative, commercially viable and sustainable buildings. We believe that our work successfully balances imagination and creativity with functionality, commercial awareness and technical expertise.

As a practice we have embraced the new and ongoing legislation relating to energy efficiency in buildings and our aim always is to focus on low energy design solutions.

There is a good balance of experience and enthusiasm within the Practice to enable us to create well designed and imaginative buildings to the highest standard and within budget.

Sinclair Watt Architects is a registered Chartered Practice with the RIBA, a member of the RIAS and our Architects are all registered with the Architects Registration Board.
